This is a fun bar with karaoke. We have been going here for years. It has been updated pretty recently. They have a couple of pool tables and several TV screens with all the games on.
This is a very low-key, slow bar with a lot of regulars who know each other well. At the same time, Bar Rescue made it a popular spot for tourists to check out. They do karaoke every night, which no other bars in the area do which is pretty cool.
I guess i made an impression, but so did they!!!
Place seemed to have friendly people to us. KARAOKE was good except they have a house system. Rather have a better system of a good kj.
I started coming to Mary's Outpost when i lived in Okla. Because they had Karaoke 7 evenings a week. I was down here on a vacation, and dropped in on a Saturday evening. They treated me like royalty. The staff and owners. All greeted me an it felt genuine. I have since gone back, an they even remember my name.
There is karaoke every night, great jukebox, strong drinks, and a friendly crowd... But it isn't a good place for a single woman to go alone on her first time here . There are a lot of regulars who are harmless, but on the exterior might be daunting to a single woman. Overall a wonderful place, but be prepared to be immediately recognized as a "non-regular."
