Great park, however the campsite we got was right by a road that was under construction and for the first hour we were there was nothing but noise. We went there a few weeks before to scout a site and they wouldn't let us. ALSO, THEY REQUIRE A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM RESERVATION AND A $10 PER CAR - PER NIGHT FEE AS WELL! So you're looking at a minimum of $50. Not worth I'm my mind.

All of that said, the campsites were great and we had full view of the lake.

Best place around for camping, relaxing and fun. The park is very clean. Very well maintained. Bathrooms and showers are always clean. Beach is all sand and cleaned daily. They even have people go out into the water and search the bottom of the swimming area for debris. Cant say enough good about this park. LOVE IT !

Rented a nice private pavilion and a few campsites for a wedding reception months in advance. Close to the day we were told that we could no longer use the pavilion that we paid for due to scheduled construction and had no choice but to use a small public one for the same price. Then very close to the day of the reception we're told that we needed to change the campsites as well due to construction. After speaking to the manager we get to keep the campsites but not the Pavilion with no sort of restitution.

One of the best camping and outdoor parks in the dfw area. Gated and secured. Paid daily and overnight access. You can reserve a primitive camp ground or one with water and electricity, covered picnic table, concrete pad for an RV etc..Great place to go during Halloween and Christmas where everyone decorates their camp. Hay rides through the park. Sometimes a haunted house in the woods. Lots of good times and memories here.

Went here to go on the Halloween hay rides for the kids and they all had loads of fun. It seems like a very nice park to visit!
